Dalmia Cement (B) Limited

Our place is called Aswathy, and we are located in Mangad Post, Kerala. We operate as Dalmia Cement (B) Limited. Being out here in this part of Kerala is a bit different than the big city offices. It’s a bit more relaxed, but we still have plenty of work to do. We spend a lot of time talking to local builders and people from the village who are putting up new structures. The office is pretty basic. We have our ledgers and a couple of old desks. We don't really go for all that modern corporate style. We prefer just talking to people face to face. Sometimes the monsoon rains make things a bit difficult, and we have to make sure everything stays dry. We’ve been part of this community for a while now. We know the people and they know us. We don't have any missions or visions or anything like that. We just sell cement and try to be fair about it. The work is steady and it keeps us occupied from morning until evening. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit when it’s not too humid. It’s a quiet kind of life, and we don't mind it one bit. We’re just here to do a job and help the folks in Mangad get their building materials. That’s about all there is to tell about us. We’re just local people helping neighbors build.
