Zubeeya Construction Private Limited is the name of the business. We are over at 25 Topsia Road South, care of Noor Alam. Noor is usually the one you’ll see if you drop by. Topsia is a very busy part of South Kolkata, and it’s a good place for a construction company to be. There’s always someone needing a wall fixed or a new structure put up. Our office is pretty modest. It’s basically just a room with some chairs and a big table where we can spread out our plans. We aren't into the whole corporate image thing. We just wear regular clothes and talk like normal people. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the phone trying to track down a shipment of sand or gravel. That is the reality of this business. It’s a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing around. We have a good group of workers who know their way around a building site. We’ve been at 25 Topsia Road South for a while now and we know the neighbors pretty well. It’s a community-based kind of thing. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just tell you what we can do and then we go out and do it. It’s dusty, noisy work, but we like seeing a project come together from nothing.
