Roy Cities

We are right here near Mahatma Gandhi Road. It's a busy part of the city. We spend most of our time at the desks. The traffic outside is always loud. Sometimes it's hard to hear the phone. The office isn't anything special to look at. Just some chairs and a few plants that need watering. We've been in this spot for a while now. Most days are pretty similar. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. People walk past the window all day long. Some stop in just to ask for directions since we're near the main road. We don't mind. It's just how things are here. The walls could use a new coat of paint maybe. We have a small fan that rattles in the corner when it's hot. It does the job though. Most of us live nearby so the commute isn't too bad. We know the tea seller down the street quite well. He brings us tea twice a day. It’s one of those things you just get used to. We don't have a big sign or anything fancy like that. If you know where Mahatma Gandhi Road is, you can find us easily enough. We just keep our heads down and get through the work pile. It's not a glamorous life but it’s our life and we're okay with it.
