Our office for Bengal Ambuja Metro Developement Limited. is at 25, A-Ballygunge Park. We’ve been in this part of Kolkata - 700 019 for years. West Bengal, India is a place with a lot of history, and we feel like we’re a small part of that here in Ballygunge. We don't have a big polished image. We’re just people who work in an office and try to keep things organized. There is a lot of talking and planning that goes on every day. Sometimes we stay late because there’s just too much to finish before morning. We don't really use marketing speak. We just say what needs saying and move on. The building we are in has big windows but they get dirty pretty fast with the city air. We take turns making tea for everyone in the afternoons. It’s those small things that make the day go by easier. We’ve got a lot of files on our desks and even more in the cabinets. It's a lot of logistics and keeping track of numbers. We don't try to sound like a giant corporation even though we handle big projects. We still feel like a local team. Most of us have lived in Kolkata our whole lives. We know the streets and the people here. We just keep our heads down and do the work. Most of the time we are just busy with the regular stuff. That's about it.
