Yusuf Fakhri

You can find us at Plot-14 in Sector-B of the Metropolitan Co-Op Housing Society. We are on the first floor, right near Canal South Road in Kolkata. Yusuf Fakhri started this setup a few years back. The neighborhood is pretty quiet, which is nice for focusing on work. We don't have a big team or a polished office space. It’s basically just a couple of rooms with some old wooden desks and chairs. The fan in the main room squeaks a bit, but we are used to it by now. We don’t really do any advertising. Most of our work comes from people who live nearby or heard about us from a friend. Kolkata weather can be really humid, so we usually keep the windows open to get a breeze from the canal side. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most famous. We just do our work and go home. There is no receptionist to greet you. If you come by, you’ll probably find me or Yusuf drinking tea and looking at some papers. We keep things very honest and straightforward. If we can't do a job, we will tell you right away instead of wasting your time. The housing society has some rules about visitors, so it is always better to let us know before you arrive. It’s just a small, local operation in 700105. We don't have any big corporate goals, just keeping things moving daily.
