Our place is at No. 3 A Gastrin Place. It’s a bit quieter over here than some of the main roads, which we appreciate when we’re trying to sort through shipping documents. We’re in the forwarding business, which basically means we spend our time moving things from one place to another. It involves a lot more paperwork than you might think. There are always forms to fill out and schedules to check. We have a small office where we keep all the records and talk to drivers. It’s not a place for showing off. We have some filing cabinets that have seen better days and a couple of desks that are usually buried under manifests. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on making sure the crates and boxes get to the right destination. Sometimes things get delayed at the docks or the trucks run into traffic, and those are the days we end up staying late to make phone calls. It’s the kind of job where you’re always watching the clock. We’ve been doing this for a long time now. We like Gastrin Place because it’s got a bit of character. Most of our day is just checking lists and making sure the numbers match up. It’s practical, everyday work that keeps things moving a little bit. We stay busy and we like it.
