We have been here at Todi Corner on Ezra Street for a while now. It gets pretty crowded around here with all the traffic and people moving about, but that is just how this part of town is. Our office is at number 854, right in the thick of things. We mainly deal with coal sales. It isn't the most glamorous job, but someone has to do it so factories and businesses can keep their fires going. Most days start early with phone calls and checking on shipments. It is just a workspace where we manage the logs and talk to buyers. Sometimes the tea stall downstairs is the highlight of the afternoon. People come and go, asking about prices or when the next load is arriving. We try to keep things simple and honest. Dealing with coal means getting your hands a bit dirty metaphorically, though mostly we just handle the paperwork these days. It is a steady life. Ezra Street has its own rhythm, and we have just become part of the background noise here over the years. If you find yourself near No. 32, you will probably see our sign among all the others. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
