You can find us over at 2 Motilal Colony, right near the Airport Gate on N. S. Sarani. We’re close to the Ambagan landmark and the Surya Kiran Apartment building. Being so near the airport is the main thing for Ad North East Air Cargo Pvt. Ltd. We spend most of our time dealing with boxes, crates, and a lot of paperwork. It’s a fast-paced environment because planes don't wait for anyone. We’re constantly checking watches and looking at flight schedules. The office is often full of stacks of forms and the phone is usually ringing. We move things from one place to another, mostly stuff heading towards the northeast. It’s a lot of logistics, which basically means making sure things don't get lost or stuck. We’ve got a small team and we all do a bit of everything, from lifting boxes to typing out manifests. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of waiting around at cargo terminals and then a sudden rush to get things loaded. We’ve been at this Motilal Colony spot for a while, and we know the airport layout like the back of our hands. We don't try to sound like a giant global corporation. We’re just a local outfit making sure the cargo gets to where it needs to go on time. It’s hard work, but we’re used to the noise of the jets.
