You can find Abc India Ltd. at No. 40- 8 Ballygunge Circular Road. It’s a well-known part of the city with plenty of old buildings and heavy traffic. We work in an office that’s been here for a while. It’s got high ceilings and those old-style windows that let in a lot of dust. Our work is mainly focused on logistics and coordinating shipments. There’s always someone on the phone talking to a warehouse or checking a delivery schedule. It’s a lot of tracking numbers and logistical headaches. We don't have a fancy website with big promises. We just make sure things get from point A to point B without too much trouble. The office gets a bit loud because everyone is talking at once, but we’re used to it. We have a small kitchen where we make tea, and that’s usually where the best gossip happens. Sometimes the rain floods the street outside, and we all have to wait it out before heading home. It’s just a normal workplace with people who have been doing this for years. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just do the paperwork, handle the calls, and keep the business moving as best as we can every day. Most of us have been sitting at these same desks for a long time, so we’ve become like a second family, for better or worse, as the weeks go by.
