V.V. Impex

V.V. Impex is located at 93, Park Street. It’s an old building, like many of the ones in this part of the city. You have to walk up some stairs to get to us. The walls have that old-fashioned look and the floors have seen a lot of feet over the years. We like it though. It has character. Our office is a mix of old wooden desks and some newer filing cabinets we had to get because we were running out of space. Park Street is always buzzing, so there’s never a dull moment. We can hear the traffic and the people outside all day long. It makes us feel like we’re in the middle of everything. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. There’s just a handful of us here. We handle the imports and exports from these few rooms. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of paperwork, but we manage. We don't have a PR team or anyone to make us look more important than we are. We’re just people doing a job. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon and talk about what’s going on. Then it’s back to work until it’s time to lock up and go home. Being at 93 Park Street is just our daily reality. We’ve been here for a long time and we’ve seen the street change a lot, but our small office stays pretty much the same.
