You can find Ankit India Ltd. on the 5th floor of the F.M.C. Fortu building. The address is 234/3 A A.J.C. Bose Road. It is a very busy street with cars and buses honking all day long. Being on the 5th floor helps keep some of that noise away. We have a good view of the traffic from our windows. The building is large and has a lot of different offices. Our space is 14-A. We have been here for a long time. The office is full of filing cabinets and old desks. We handle a lot of administrative work and trade details. It gets very busy in the afternoons. We have a small tea station in the back. The elevator can be a bit slow during the lunch hour so we try to avoid it then. The security guards at the front gate know us all by now. A.J.C. Bose Road is the heart of the business area. There are plenty of places to grab a quick snack nearby. We spend most of our time at our desks. It’s a lot of typing and checking figures. Sometimes we have meetings around the big table in the center. It’s not a glamorous life but it’s our work. We keep the office open late if there is a lot to finish. It is just the way things are here. We just get on with it.
