Vrishan Jute Products Private Limited is up on the first floor at 24 Burtolla Street. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s a hub for all sorts of trade. The building is quite old, and the stairs are worn down from years of people carrying bundles up and down. We work specifically with jute products. Our space is filled with the scent of raw jute, which is something you either love or hate. There are stacks of bags and rolls of fabric everywhere. It isn't a very tidy place because jute sheds a lot of fibers, so we are always dusting things off. We have a couple of sewing machines and a large table for cutting. Our team is small, mostly just a few people who have been doing this for a long time. We don't have a big corporate structure. If something needs fixing, we usually just do it ourselves. Burtolla Street is always loud with the sounds of carts and people yelling, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend our days fulfilling orders and making sure the quality of the jute is what it should be. It’s a messy, honest kind of work. We don't have any fancy mission statements; we just make jute goods and try to stay on top of our deadlines. It's a simple business in a busy neighborhood where everyone is just trying to get through their daily tasks.
