Ambrosia Exim

1/1a Nando Mallick Lane is where you will find us. We are tucked away in Sector-1 and it’s a typical North Kolkata spot. The lane is narrow, so getting big vehicles in can be a challenge sometimes. Ambrosia Exim isn’t a huge corporation with floors of people. It’s just us in a modest space. We handle the export side of things, mostly dealing with the small details that other people find boring. There are always stacks of papers on the desks and the phone never really stops ringing for long. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and someone will be there working. It gets hot in the summer, and the fans overhead do their best, but we just keep going. We don’t put much stock in sounding professional or using big words. We talk to people plainly and tell them the truth about where their stuff is. Some days are harder than others when shipments get delayed, but we just deal with it. The neighbors around Nando Mallick Lane are used to seeing us lugging boxes or talking loudly on our mobiles. It’s a local business through and through. We know the tea stall guy and the postman by name. We just work here, day in and day out, trying to stay on top of the orders and keep the files in some kind of order.
