Down in Kanchipuram, we’re located in an area people often associate with the Blood Group landmark. It’s an interesting spot for Voltech Engineers Pvt Ltd to be based. Kanchipuram is world-famous for its temples and silk, but here we are focusing on the engineering side of things. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a plain building that holds everything we need to operate. The weather here in Tamil Nadu can be pretty intense, so the office is our main refuge during the hottest parts of the day. We don’t have a lot of fancy furniture or high-tech gadgets that aren't absolutely necessary for the job. We prefer to keep our overhead low and our focus on the actual work. The team is made up of locals who know the town inside and out. We often see the same people passing by every morning while we’re opening up the shutters. It’s a very traditional place in many ways, but our engineering work keeps us looking at the modern side of things. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. If someone asks, we just say we’re engineers and show them the projects we’re currently handling. It’s an honest living in a town that has a lot of history. We’re just happy to be a small part of the community here and keep our business going year after year.
