Voltage Engineering Ltd. Doha Qatar is actually based right here in Kolkata at 11/46 A Panditia Road. It’s a bit of an interesting name given our location in West Bengal, but that’s just how it is. Panditia Road is a busy spot. If you’re around the 700029 area, you’ve probably passed by us. The office isn't anything you'd see in a magazine. It’s a functional space where we handle all the engineering talk and the coordination. We’ve got some old desks and plenty of files. The fans hum all day to keep the humidity back. Working in Kolkata has its own rhythm. We take our breaks, we talk to the people on the street, and we get the job done. Publicity isn't really our style. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just do it. It’s an honest way to make a living. The staff here has been together for a long time. We don't have a polished corporate handbook. We just know how things are supposed to work and we follow that. Sometimes the phones ring off the hook and other times it's quiet enough to hear the street vendors outside. It’s just a normal workplace. We don't try to make it sound more exciting than it is. It’s just Panditia Road and us. We keep our heads down and stay busy with the technical details.
