Vivrddhi Exports Private Limited is located at 6D Elgin Road. If you know Kolkata, you know this part of town is always moving. Our office is right in the middle of all that energy. We spend a lot of time dealing with the logistics of moving goods around. It’s not always easy, and there are many days where we feel like we are just chasing deadlines. The building we are in has been around for a while, and it has that specific feel of old Kolkata mixed with new business. We don't have fancy decorations or a reception area with coffee machines. It's mostly just desks, chairs, and people working. We started this because we wanted to see if we could make a go of it on our own. It’s been a learning curve for everyone involved. Some days we are really on top of things, and other days it feels like we are barely keeping up with the emails. We try to be practical about how we handle the export side. We know the local market and the rules pretty well by now. It’s just a regular office where we show up, do the work, and go home. We don't put on any airs about what we do. It’s just a business like any other on Elgin Road. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud we have to close all the windows just to hear the phone.
