We are located at 11, Brabourne Road, which is a busy place to be. Vivek Engineering & Casting Ltd. is right in the middle of all the commercial action. The building has a lot of character, meaning it’s old and the stairs creak a bit. Our office is where the planning happens. We deal with a lot of engineering specs and casting orders. You’ll see plenty of dusty files and old wooden furniture here. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a coffee machine with ten settings. We just have a kettle and some tea bags. The fans on the ceiling hum all day long. We spend hours talking to the plant workers or sorting out delivery schedules for the trucks. Brabourne Road is always jammed with traffic, so we have to plan our day around it. Sometimes we’re here late just to make sure the paperwork for a big order is right. We don't use much fancy language; we just talk about metal, molds, and deadlines. It’s a practical life. People stop by to drop off invoices or just to say hello. It feels like a community here, even with all the noise outside. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of things to do. The monsoon season is always a bit of a challenge because the roof leaks in one corner, so we have to move the files around sometimes. It’s just how things are in this old building. We don't complain.
