If you’ve ever been to Poddar Court on Rabindra Sarani, you know how hectic it gets. We are located at Gate No 4, up on the 6th floor. It’s a maze in here sometimes. Vitara Builders Llp has been running out of this office for a while now. The office is usually filled with the sound of the ceiling fan and someone typing away on an old keyboard. We do a lot of planning for residential buildings. It’s a lot of back and forth with the site managers. We try to keep things simple. We have our regulars who come in to talk about their projects, and we usually have some tea while we go over the plans. The 6th floor isn't too bad, though waiting for the lift at Gate 4 can take forever during lunch hours. We’ve had to learn to be patient. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Kolkata. We just want to do a decent job on the projects we take on. Sometimes we run out of space for all the files, so they end up stacked on the floor in the corner. It’s a working office, not a showroom. We deal with the real stuff—concrete, steel, and labor. It’s what we know how to do, and we’ve been doing it here at Rabindra Sarani for quite some time. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure everything is built to last.
