Vinimay Tradecom LLP is located on the 19th floor of Block B, 46B Matheswartola Road. That’s in Kolkata 700046. Being up on the 19th floor means we spend a lot of time waiting for the elevators, especially when the building is full. The office is pretty simple. We have some desks, a couple of computers, and a lot of cabinets for our trading records. It’s a bright space because of the large windows, but we usually keep the blinds down to block the sun. We aren't a big, fancy firm. It’s just a few of us here handling the daily trade operations. We don't use any complicated jargon or have big meetings with slides. Mostly, we just talk to each other across the room and stay on the phone with our clients. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with papers, but we try to clear it up at the end of the week. We drink a lot of instant coffee to keep going. It’s a quiet place compared to the streets below, which is a nice change. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just come in, do the trades, and make sure the accounts are balanced. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living in the city. We often share a few laughs when the printer decides to stop working.
