Our spot is located at 300/10 on South Purbachal Road. It is a bit of a mix of small houses and other little businesses all around this neighborhood. At the knitting centre, we have rows of older machines and plenty of yarn tucked into every available space. You can always hear the rhythmic click-clack of the knitting needles going throughout the entire day. We have plastic baskets filled up with all different colored wools and synthetic threads. It is a bit cluttered inside, but we know exactly where every single thing is kept. People from the local neighborhood often drop by just to ask a few questions or to see what kind of patterns we are working on this week. We do not have a very big sign out front, just the address and the name painted on the wall. Inside, it is mostly just the workbenches and the faint smell of the oil we use to keep the machines running smoothly. We spend a lot of our time sitting and watching the patterns slowly form as the machines work. It is very detailed work, and sometimes your eyes can get quite tired by the end of a long shift. We have a small electric kettle in the back that we use for making coffee or tea. The light coming in from the front door is usually enough for us to work by during the daytime. We don't use any software for tracking orders, just some old paper ledgers.
