Our office is at 1 Garstin Place, right in the 700001 pin code area of Kolkata. It’s a part of the city that feels like it’s been around forever, with those old buildings and narrow lanes. Working here means we are right in the thick of the old business district. The office itself is pretty basic. We’ve got a few desks, some old cupboards for the files, and a lot of folders stacked up on the floor because we ran out of shelf space months ago. It can get pretty dusty with the windows open, but we like the breeze. We aren't the type to wear suits or have big board meetings every morning. Most of the time, we’re just drinking tea and figuring out the logistics for our next project. The phone rings a lot, and half the time it’s someone looking for directions because this part of town is like a maze. We don’t have a fancy website with stock photos of people shaking hands. It’s just us, working on projects and trying to keep the paperwork straight. Some days are more productive than others, especially when the monsoon hits and the streets outside start to flood. We just deal with things as they come and don't try to pretend to be a massive corporation. It’s just a small group of us trying to make our way in a very busy city.
