Vedang Infrastructure Llp

We are based at 113 Park Street on the sixth floor. Being in Kolkata, especially on Park Street, means things are always moving fast. Vedang Infrastructure Llp is right in the middle of it all. Up on the 6th floor, it's a bit quieter than the street level, but you still hear the horns honking down below. We aren't a huge corporation with a lot of layers. It’s just a group of us working on infrastructure projects. Our office has big windows but we are usually too busy looking at drawings and schedules to notice the view. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and workers. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of math and checking things twice so nothing falls down. We drink a lot of coffee and try to keep the files from piling up too high. The elevator in the building can be slow during lunch hours when everyone is heading out, so we usually just stay at our desks and eat something quick. We don’t have a mission statement or any of that. We just focus on the project in front of us. Some days are long and we leave after the sun goes down, but that's just part of the deal when you're building things in a city like this. It’s honest work and we try to keep it simple. There are always new blueprints arriving and old ones being filed away in the corner.
