Vedakara Exim Private Limited

We’re located right on the ground floor at 12A, N. S. Road. Being in the heart of Kolkata means it’s always a bit of a scramble around here. Vedakara Exim Private Limited is basically a small office where we handle import and export stuff. It’s not a large space, but it’s enough for what we do. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and talking to people in other time zones. The ground floor location is handy because we don’t have to deal with elevators, but it does mean people are always walking past the door. We’ve been at this for a while. It’s mostly about coordinating between different suppliers and buyers. There’s a lot of paperwork involved, which isn't the most fun part, but it’s necessary. We try to keep things simple and avoid all that corporate talk you hear so much of these days. It’s just a regular office with some computers and a coffee machine that gets a lot of use. The noise from N. S. Road is something you just learn to ignore after a week or two. We focus on getting the goods from point A to point B without too many problems. It’s a practical way to earn a living, and we’re happy enough doing it right here in the middle of the city. Usually, the sidewalk outside is so crowded we have to squeeze past to get in, but that’s just life in the city.
