Our workspace is up on the second floor of Alom House, which is located at 7B, Dr. Harendra Coomer Mukherjee Sarani. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the address, but it’s a decent spot once you get here. The second floor isn’t too high, so the walk isn't bad if you're not in the mood for the elevator. We’ve got a few rooms where we keep our files and maps for the enclave projects we handle. It isn't a silent office by any means; you can always hear the city noise from the street below, but we've gotten used to it over the years. We spend a lot of our time just sitting around the main table, talking through whatever issues have come up at the sites. There is usually a half-empty box of biscuits somewhere and a lot of pens that don’t work. We don't bother with fancy decor or anything that looks too polished because that’s just not how we are. We're just a small group of people working together to make things happen without making too much of a fuss about it. Sometimes the rains make the roof leak a tiny bit near the window, but we just move the chair and keep going. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. People mostly just find us by word of mouth or by seeing the sign outside when they pass by.
