Urm Real Estate Private Limited is tucked away at 38 Netaji Subhas Road in Kolkata. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded and loud it gets with all the traffic and people moving about. Our office is right in the middle of that 700001 zip code chaos. We deal with property and land, which mostly means a lot of paperwork and sitting through meetings about titles and deeds. The building we are in has that old Kolkata feel, with high ceilings and walls that could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We spend our mornings going through listings and talking to folks who are looking to buy or sell something in the area. It’s not always easy keeping everything organized when the phones are ringing and someone is always at the door with a question. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that; it’s just us trying to make sure the deals go through properly. Most afternoons involve some of us heading out to look at properties or meeting people at different spots across West Bengal. The heat in the summer can make the office a bit stuffy, but we have a couple of fans going to keep things moving. We prefer just talking straight with people without using all those complicated words you see in brochures. It’s just about finding the right spot for the right person and making sure the papers are signed correctly.
