You can find URA CONSTRUCTION PRIVATE LIMITED over at 134/2 Thakurbati Street. It’s a narrow enough street and it gets quite crowded during the middle of the day. We have been working out of this spot for some time now. Our daily routine involves a lot of talk about site inspections, concrete mixes, and making sure the trucks arrive when they are supposed to. It doesn't always happen on time, which can be frustrating, but that is just how the construction business goes. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of offices, just this one place on Thakurbati Street. We mostly focus on local projects around the neighborhood. Sometimes we take on bigger jobs further away, but our heart is really in the local community. The office has maps on the walls and stacks of papers that we really should file away more often. We have a few desks and a couple of chairs for visitors. People usually come in with a specific problem or a plan they want us to look at. We listen, take some notes, and see what can be done. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. No one here wears a suit unless they absolutely have to for a meeting. We prefer being out on the sites where the actual building happens anyway. It’s more interesting than sitting under a fan all day. There is always something to fix or a new plan to start.
