United Exports Kolkata

If you head up to the 2nd floor of 11 Shantiniketan, you’ll find us. We’re at 8 Camac Street, which is a fairly central place to be in Kolkata. United Exports Kolkata has been operating out of this floor for a while now. The elevator in the building is a bit slow and sometimes it makes a strange creaking noise, so most of us just take the stairs. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It’s mostly desks pushed together and walls covered in maps and shipping schedules. Camac Street is always buzzing, and you can hear the city through the glass all day long. We spend a lot of time coordinating with different vendors and making sure our export documents are in order. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. Sometimes the internet goes out and we all have to take a break, which usually means heading downstairs for a quick snack. We aren't a big corporate entity with a HR department and fancy titles. We’re just a group of people who know how to get things from point A to point B. The 2nd floor gets quite warm in the summer, even with the fans going, but we’re used to it. We don't try to impress anyone with big words or shiny brochures. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure we don't miss any details in the shipping logs. It's just a normal office routine.
