To find Unique Systems & Peripherals, you have to head up to the 9th floor of Commerce House on Ganesh Chandra Avenue. We’re in Room No 2. It’s a long way up, but at least the view of Dharmatala is interesting from the windows when we actually have time to look. The building is older, and the elevators sometimes have a mind of their own, so you might end up taking the stairs part of the way if you’re unlucky. Inside our room, it’s a bit of a mess of peripherals and system parts. We have printers, keyboards, and monitors stacked up against the walls. It’s a small space for everything we try to do, but it works for us. We spend most of our time answering phones and looking up serial numbers. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we know. Being on the 9th floor means we don't get a lot of random foot traffic, so most people who come here are looking for us specifically. We don't have a big marketing budget or a polished website. We just have our room and our tools. Sometimes it gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, but we have a fan that keeps things moving. We’ve been doing this for a long time in this same spot. It’s a simple operation, and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down.
