We’ve been here at Central Road on the second floor for quite a while now. Most people know us because we're right by Jadavpur University. It’s a busy spot, and we usually have a lot of students coming in and out. It gets pretty crowded in the afternoons, especially when people need things fixed quickly between their classes. I started this place because I liked working with hardware. It isn’t a fancy office. There are wires and parts everywhere, but that’s just how we work. Sometimes the stairs up to the second floor are a bit of a climb if you're carrying a heavy desktop tower. We keep a small stock of parts in the back room. My desk is usually covered in screws and tools from whatever project I'm currently on. The lighting isn't the best, but we get the job done. We’ve seen a lot of different machines come through these doors over the years. Some are easy fixes and some take all day. We just stay open until the work is finished for the day. If you're walking past the university, you'll see our sign. It’s a simple setup we have here. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the counter. That’s usually me or one of the guys. We try to keep things straightforward. There's an old sofa in the corner for anyone waiting, though it's seen better days.
