Unifide Agro Private Limited

Unifide Agro Private Limited is on the first floor at 30 Chaulpatty Road in Kolkata. Being in the city, things are always moving fast around us. Chaulpatty Road is usually packed with people and trucks, so there is never a dull moment. Our office is up a flight of stairs that are a bit steep, so you have to watch your step when you're carrying things. Once you’re inside, it’s a bit quieter, but you can still hear the horns honking outside all afternoon. We handle a lot of the administrative side of agro work here. There are a few of us sitting at desks with papers piled up, trying to keep everything in order. It’s a lot of typing and filing, mostly. We don't have a view of any fields here, just other buildings and the busy street below. Sometimes the heat in Kolkata is hard to deal with, so the ceiling fans are always on full blast. We don't really do much marketing or anything like that. People know us through our work and word of mouth. We keep the kettle going for tea because it’s the only way to get through the long afternoons. It is a very basic setup, just some chairs and computers and a lot of grit. We show up every morning, deal with the city traffic, and do our best to keep the business moving forward without making a big scene. It's a crowded building, but we like the location. The tea shop downstairs is quite good too.
