Agromaitri Farms Private Limited is located over in Survey Park, Kolkata. Specifically, we are at C/154 in the Commo flats. It’s a bit different being based in the city, but we handle a lot of the farm-related work from here. West Bengal has so much agriculture, and we wanted to be part of that link between the rural areas and the city. We don't have big fields right outside our window in Kolkata-700075, obviously. Instead, we spend a lot of time on the phone or traveling to see how things are growing. It can be a bit hectic trying to manage everything from a flat, but we make it work. We are a private company, but it's just a small team of us. No big suits or boardrooms. We mostly talk about seeds, soil, and what the farmers are seeing on the ground. Sometimes the traffic in Kolkata makes getting things moved around a real headache. We started this because we saw how much work goes into farming and thought we could help organize things better. It isn't always smooth. We deal with late shipments and bad weather reports just like everyone else. We stay busy with the paperwork and making sure the supplies get where they are supposed to go. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep the farm connections steady for the people we work with.
