Toshyan Exim

Toshyan Exim is tucked away in Baghbazar. We operate out of Kanak Villa, which is at 15-b Uma Charan Mitra Lane. It's a bit of a narrow lane, so if you're driving, you have to be careful not to miss the turn. The building has a lot of history to it. We like it here because it feels like a real community. We do a lot of exim work, which mostly involves a lot of back-and-forth communication. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. There are stacks of papers on most of the desks because there’s always something to sign or check. We’ve got a small team and we’ve all been working together for a while. We know each other's habits and how we like our tea. The office is a bit crowded sometimes, especially when a lot of samples come in at once. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just do the work as it comes in. Baghbazar is a lively place to be, and there’s always something happening right outside our door. Sometimes the noise from the street makes its way inside, but we’re used to it by now. We just keep doing what we do from our little corner of Kanak Villa. It’s a simple setup and that works for us. We don't need much more.
