Ukani Machinery Stores

Ukani Machinery Stores is located at 34, Strand Road, right inside Gooptu Mansion. It’s an old building with a lot of character, and we have been here for quite some time. Strand Road is always busy, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. Being in Gooptu Mansion gives us a bit of a permanent feeling. The space isn't huge, but we pack a lot of machinery and parts into every corner. It can be a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we get new stock in. We don't really have a showroom or anything polished like that. It is more of a warehouse and shop combo. We spend our days helping people find the right parts or tools they need. Some of the shelves are a bit high and the floors are worn down from all the foot traffic over the years. It’s just the way a machinery store should be, I think. We know where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to someone walking in for the first time. Ukani Machinery Stores is just a reliable spot on a very busy street. We don't do much advertising; people just know we are here in the mansion. It’s a steady kind of life, working with the heavy stuff day in and day out. Sometimes the old elevators in the building act up, but we just carry on with the work.
