Universal Construction Machinery & Equipment Pvt. Ltd

In Kolkata, we are set up as Universal Construction Machinery & Equipment Pvt. Ltd in the CIT Building on Christopher Road. We have Flat 17 in Block-A, which is where we manage the West Bengal side of things. The building is an old one, typical of this part of Kolkata, and it has that specific smell of old concrete and rain. Christopher Road is always busy, so there is a constant hum of yellow taxis and people walking by. We don't have a big showroom here. Instead, our space is filled with stacks of invoices, technical drawings, and a couple of old desks that have seen better days. It gets incredibly humid in the summer, so the ceiling fan is always clicking away at top speed. We drink a lot of tea while discussing machine specs and delivery routes. It’s a very hands-on environment, even if we are mostly doing the planning here. People drop by sometimes just to ask for directions or to see if we have a specific part available. We don't use much corporate jargon; we just tell people what is available and when it can get to their site. It is a bit messy and disorganized at times, but we know exactly where every piece of paper is. It feels like a real part of the local community in the 700014 area. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
