Ujan Nirman Llp

We've been over at Kankurgchi 2nd Lane for a while now. Our office is right on the ground floor at Flat-G2, 22J. It isn't a huge place but it works for what we do. Ujan Nirman Llp started because some of us wanted to handle local building work differently. Most days we are out on sites around Kolkata, making sure the foundation is right or dealing with some paperwork. It gets noisy sometimes since we’re near the lane, but the neighbors don’t mind too much. People usually just drop by when they have a question about a project. We keep things pretty informal. There’s always someone drinking tea and looking over blueprints. If you know the area near the post office, you can find us easily enough. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation with fancy elevators and receptionist desks. It's just a bunch of guys who know how to put things together. Some days are harder than others when the monsoon rain hits, but we manage. If you are walking down the lane and see the sign for Flat-G2, that’s us. We focus on the practical side of construction. It’s hard work, but someone has to do it. We’ve stayed in this part of town because it’s where we live and where we know the people. Just a regular business doing regular work. No big fuss about it. That's just how we operate.
