You can find us at 24 Hemanta Basu Sarani, in the Mangalam A building, Room 310. It’s right in the middle of the Kolkata 700001 area, which means it’s always a scramble to find a place to park or even walk on the sidewalk. Our room is on the third floor, and it’s a pretty standard office space. We’ve got some old wooden furniture and a clock on the wall that’s always five minutes slow. We don't really care about having a polished look because we’re too busy with the actual work. Mostly, we’re just dealing with the towers projects and all the legal bits that come with them. There’s usually a pile of blueprints on the main table and a few empty tea cups lying around. We don't have any corporate slogans on the walls or any of that stuff. It’s just a place where we come to work every day and try to keep things on track. Some days the lift is broken, and we have to huff and puff our way up the stairs, which isn't great in the summer heat. We talk to each other like normal people, sometimes arguing about where we should order lunch from. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or fancy presentations. We just do the work we have and hope for the best. That’s pretty much the story of our office life here.
