Tommasi & Sengupta Exports Llp

Our office is up on the 5th floor of Trinity Towers at 83 Topsia Road South. Being in Room No. 506 gives us a bit of a view of Kolkata, even if we are usually too busy with paperwork to look out. Tommasi & Sengupta Exports Llp is basically just a group of us working together in this space. It is a modern enough building for this part of West Bengal and the elevators actually work most of the time which is a plus. We spend the day going back and forth with different suppliers and logistics people. It is mostly emails and phone calls from morning until evening. The air conditioning is pretty much essential during the summer months here or we would not get anything done. We did not spend much on decorating the place, so it is just desks, chairs, and some old coffee mugs. People think the export business is very exciting but it is mostly just checking numbers and making sure containers are in the right spot. We deal with all sorts of small problems every day. Sometimes the documents get stuck at customs and we have to spend hours sorting it out. It is just a regular job for us and we like being in this location. There are a lot of other businesses in the tower so the whole place feels quite active. We keep things informal around the office.
