If you walk down Meredith Street, you’ll find us right at the start at No-1. T.K.Exim Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this spot for a good stretch of time. The building itself is a bit older, but it serves its purpose for what we do. We mostly deal with export and import stuff, which means there are always stacks of forms and shipping logs lying around the desks. It’s a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. There’s no big hierarchy or anything corporate like that. We just grab a chair and get to work. Sometimes the street gets so loud with people and cars that we have to shut the windows, even if it gets a bit stuffy inside. Lunch is usually a quick affair, maybe something brought from home or a bite from one of the small shops nearby. We don’t have any grand statements to make about what we do. It’s just a regular trading business. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and making sure the crates are packed right. Some days are slow, and other days it feels like we can’t catch our breath with all the orders coming in. We like being on Meredith Street though. It’s a familiar place and the neighbors are alright. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily grind without much fuss. We aren't trying to be fancy, just trying to keep the paperwork moving smoothly.
