Tiger Squad Force Foundation

We are located over in Chandannagar on Suksanatantala Main Road. It’s a place with a lot of history and old buildings, and we’re right in the middle of it. The office is associated with Sri Gangadhar Chakraborty’s name. It’s a ground-floor kind of place, so people just wander in and out throughout the day. Tiger Squad Force Foundation is the name we use, but most people locally just know us as the guys on the main road. The room is filled with old wooden chairs and a big table where we sit and talk about things. There is a specific smell of old paper and maybe a bit of dust, but it feels right for a foundation. Outside, the street is usually full of bicycles and people walking to the market. We don’t have air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that click as they spin. It gets hot in the summer, but we just open the doors. We don’t have a big sign or anything fancy, just the address on the wall. Most of the work involves talking to people and organizing small things for the community. It’s a very local operation. We don’t use computers for everything; there are still plenty of handwritten ledgers and notebooks lying around. It’s a bit slow-paced compared to the city, but we like it that way. It’s just a simple room on a busy street where we try to do our bit.
