Teevra Madhyam Music And Performing Arts

We are based in Salt Lake, specifically in HB - 62, Sector III. It’s a nice part of Kolkata with lots of parks and quiet streets. Our space at Teevra Madhyam Music And Performing Arts is for music and performing arts. It’s not like a regular office; there are usually instruments lying around and someone is almost always practicing in the back. We’ve been here for a while, just trying to keep the arts alive in our own small way. The place isn't soundproofed perfectly, so you can often hear a bit of whatever is going on inside from the sidewalk. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s mostly just a group of us who enjoy music and want to share that with others. We teach classes and sometimes host small gatherings for people to perform. It can get a bit disorganized with all the sheet music and equipment, but we know where everything is. Salt Lake is a good spot for us because it’s easy for people to reach, and it’s not as chaotic as the main city. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or marketing people. Most of our students come to us because they heard about what we do from a friend or neighbor. It’s a simple, honest place where the focus is really just on the music and the art. We’re just happy to be able to do this every day for the community.
