Arsi Centre

Arsi Centre is tucked away in the Five Star Market, which is on C.G.R. Road in Khidirpur. We are shop number 102 on the ground floor. If you've ever been to this market, you know it’s a very busy place with a lot of energy. There is always noise from the street and people moving goods back and forth. Our shop is quite small, so we have to be very careful about how we stack our items. We carry a variety of goods and our stock changes pretty often. It’s just the way it is in a market like this. We spend a lot of time talking to the other shopkeepers around us. It’s a tight-knit community and we all know each other’s business. We don't have any corporate training or anything like that. We just learned by doing it every day. Sometimes the market gets very crowded and it’s hard to move around, but we are used to the squeeze. We try to keep our shop organized, but it can get a bit chaotic when a new shipment arrives. We just do our best to help everyone who stops by. It’s a simple way of living and working. We like the bustle of Khidirpur and wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Sometimes the power goes out and we just keep the shop open with a small light until it comes back. That’s just life in the market.
