Tanagers Developer Private Limited is up on the 9th floor of Todi Mansion, right at 1, Lu Shun Sarani. Being high up like that gives us a decent view of the city, but most of the time we’re too busy to look out the window. The office is usually a bit of a mess with site reports and drawings scattered everywhere. Kolkata is a tough place to build in because of the old infrastructure and the narrow streets, so we spend a lot of time just figuring out how to get equipment to the site. We don't have a bunch of polished executives; we're mostly just folks who've been in the development business for a long time. We handle the boring stuff like land clearances and the hard stuff like getting a project finished before the rain starts. It’s not always pretty, and there are plenty of long days where nothing seems to go right. But then you see a project actually take shape, and it feels worth the headache. We don't use much fancy talk about our work. If you come by the 9th floor, you’ll see we’re just a small team trying to keep things organized. We deal with the usual problems like fluctuating material costs and finding good labor. It’s just how the industry works. We’ve been in Todi Mansion for some time now, and we’re just another local business trying to do its part in the city.
