You can find us in New Alipore, specifically in Sahapur Colony at premises 20/6. We have the north portion of the ground floor. It’s a handy location because we don’t have to climb any stairs to get the goods in and out. We do a mix of retail and export work. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes because we use the space for both office work and storing some of the stock. There are boxes stacked up in the corners and the desks are usually covered in invoices and tape dispensers. It’s a bit messy, but that’s just how it is when you’re moving things around every day. New Alipore is a decent area, and the colony is relatively quiet so we can actually hear ourselves think. We have a small team of people from around the neighborhood. We don’t have any big mission statements or anything like that. We just want to sell our products and make sure the export orders go out on time. Sometimes we have customers coming in to look at things, so we try to keep the front part a bit tidier for them. The lighting isn't the best, but we have enough lamps to get by. Most of our time is spent on the phone or checking the latest prices for things. It’s a simple, local business. We keep it straightforward and don’t try to be something we’re not.
