Sunayana Credit

Our office sits at 18 Kali Krishna Tagore Street. It's an old building in a part of Kolkata that has a lot of history. Sunayana Credit has been here for years, dealing with the daily grind of financial paperwork and local accounts. The street is narrow and usually blocked by handcarts or vans loading goods. Inside our office, it’s mostly just desks covered in ledgers and old files. We don't use much fancy software; we still like to keep things written down where we can see them. It gets quite hot in the summer, and the ceiling fans just move the warm air around, but we are used to it by now. People from the neighborhood come in to talk about their accounts or ask for small loans. We know most of them by name. It’s not a fast-paced environment like those big banks downtown. We take our time to listen to what people need. There is a lot of paperwork involved, and sometimes we spend the whole afternoon just filing documents. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just provide a bit of credit help to local folks who need it. It’s honest work, even if it’s a bit repetitive. We close up when the sun goes down and start all over again the next day. It’s just how things are done here on Tagore Street. You won't find any glossy brochures here, just real people helping their neighbors with their finances.
