Sthom Properties operates out of Poddar Court, right by Gate Number 4. We are situated on the 6th floor. Being at 18 Rabindra Sarani means we are right in the thick of it. The office is usually a bit cluttered with documents and folders, but we know where everything is. We deal with property matters in and around Kolkata. It’s a lot of walking, talking, and looking at different spots. Sometimes we spend the whole day out on the street, and other days we are stuck behind the desk trying to make sense of the local regulations. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work. The building itself is quite old and has its quirks, but it suits us fine. We’ve met a lot of people over the years just by being in this location. It’s a straightforward operation. We help people figure out their property needs without any extra fluff. If there’s a problem, we try to fix it. If a project is delayed, we deal with the fallout. We don’t try to make things sound better than they are. Real estate in this city is complicated, so we just try to keep our heads down and get through the checklist. It’s a bit of a grind, but we like the pace of it. Being close to the other businesses in the court makes things easier. It is just a normal office life.
