Being in Hyderabad means we are always dealing with the heat and the constant energy of the city. We’ve set up our human resources work here because there’s always someone looking for a job and some company looking for a person. It’s a lot of sorting through files and talking to people on the phone. Our office isn’t anything to write home about. It’s functional, with enough desks for everyone and a small area to sit if you’re waiting. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just handle the hiring and the paperwork that comes with it. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking about the cricket score, and other days the phones won't stop ringing. We’ve seen a lot of changes in how people find work over the years, but the basics stay the same. You need a job, and someone else needs your skills. We try to bridge that gap without making it more complicated than it needs to be. It’s just honest work. We don't promise anyone the world, we just look at what's available and try to be helpful. The coffee machine breaks down more than we’d like, and the filing system is a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. That’s just life in a real office, trying to make things happen for people.
