Ssrm Tea Overseas Private Limited

We are based out of a plot in Bejoygarh. It’s a residential part of Kolkata, so it’s a bit quieter than the main markets. Our office is at 1/25E, Plot 34. We deal with tea, mostly for shipping out to other places. The smell of dried tea leaves is pretty much always in the air here. It’s a nice smell, actually. We spend a lot of time checking samples and making sure the bags are packed right. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us making sure things run. We have some desks, a few cupboards full of samples, and a kettle that’s always on. You can’t work in the tea business without drinking a lot of it yourself. Bejoygarh has narrow streets, so getting big deliveries in can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We’ve had to learn how to time the trucks so they don’t block the whole road. Neighbors are mostly used to us by now. We don’t have big signs or anything. It’s just a regular building where we do our business. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due, but mostly we stick to normal hours. Kolkata is a big place for tea, so we feel like we’re in the right spot even if we’re tucked away in this little corner. It’s a steady job and we like the people we work with every day. Nothing fancy happens here, just tea and talk.
