Our small place is out in Sonthsal village. It’s a quiet area, mostly fields and trees until you get to our yard. We work with stones and different materials like that. Khubir Hosen is the one who helps manage the space here. It’s not like a big city office with glass walls. We spend most of our time outside or in the shed where the actual work happens. The dust gets everywhere, no matter how much we sweep. Working with stone is heavy, tired work. Your hands get rough and you end up with sore shoulders by Friday. People around Makdamnagar know us because we’ve been here a bit. We don't have a website or anything like that usually, just word of mouth. Sometimes the rain stops us from working if the ground gets too muddy. We have to wait for things to dry out before we can move the heavy stuff again. It’s just how it goes in a village. We have a few guys from the neighborhood who come in to help. We drink a lot of tea while we talk about what needs to be cut or moved next. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy. We keep it honest and just try to finish the orders as they come in.
