Sriram International

We've been at 40/3 Strand Road for quite a while now. It’s on the 5th floor, specifically in room 33. Getting up here can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more than we'd like. The air on Strand Road is always thick with the smell of the river and the city's humidity. We just show up every morning and get to work. It’s not a fancy place, mostly just desks piled with papers and some old chairs that have seen better days. Sriram International started out small and stayed that way, which suits us just fine. Most days are spent on the phone or handling the usual paperwork that piles up. The light coming through the windows in the afternoon is actually quite nice, even if the view is just other buildings. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how things work around here. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that’s the highlight of the hour. We don’t go in for big speeches or anything like that. We just do what needs doing and go home when the sun sets. Living and working in this part of town has its challenges, but you get used to the noise and the constant movement outside. It is what it is. We keep the files organized as best we can and try to stay on top of the daily grind.
