You can find us up on the third floor of the building at 63A Burtalla Street. If you’ve ever walked through this part of Kolkata, you know it is always a bit of a squeeze with all the people and the goods being moved around. We have been here for a bit now, handling the knitting side of things. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, and the building has that old Kolkata feel to it. It’s not a modern glass tower, just a solid place where work happens. We keep ourselves busy with orders and checking the quality of the knits we are dealing with. The space is filled with bags of samples and ledgers. We don't use much fancy tech, just the basics to keep the business running. Often, the room is quite warm, especially in the summer months, but we just open the windows and keep going. We know most of the other traders on the street by name, and we often find ourselves chatting with them while waiting for a delivery truck to find a parking spot. It’s a lot of manual coordination. We don't have any fancy goals written on the wall. We just want to make sure the boxes go out to the right people at the right time. That’s enough to keep us busy from Monday to Saturday. It's just a regular office life for us here on Burtalla Street and we like the routine of it.
